St. Charles County Marriage License Office

The St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds is the only office that issues marriage licenses in St. Charles County. It sits in the county administration building in downtown St. Charles. Both people must come to the office together to apply. Bring a valid photo ID for your marriage license and your Social Security card. Apply for a St. Charles County Marriage License

Getting a marriage license in St. Charles County follows Missouri state law. Under RSMo 451.040, you must apply at least three days before the license can be issued.
